Join DEAD GOOD for a hands-on experience of tending to grief through the use of local herbs in a bread baking ritual using focaccia.
Together, we’ll handle, smell and taste herbs that have carried meanings around memory, mourning, love and protection across generations.
We’ll think about the people, places and experiences we carry with us, and we'll select fresh herbs to press into our own focaccia dough as an edible act of remembrance.
There’s no pressure to tell your story during the event. You can talk, listen, make, knead, arrange herbs, drink tea and simply be alongside other people.
Acts of personal remembrance can be something simple made with our hands, and then shared around a table in community with others.
Bring with you a small object that reminds you of someone or something you miss.
Join us at the table.
No baking experience needed. All forms of grief welcome.
