Challah Bread

Challah or Chałka, a braided bread, traditionally hails from Eastern Europe and Germany and either influenced or was influenced by the Jewish communities who enjoyed it on the Sabbath and holidays. This Polish version is sweet with a crumbly topping. 

Serving suggestions

Perfect with jam and butter or another spread of your choice. 

Suitable for Vegetarians, not suitable for Vegans.
