Rising Loaf | Harsha | 18th August | 2pm

Join us at Sunrise for our next Rising Loaf session with Nadia from Moroccan Food Culture, where you’ll learn how to make Harsha - a traditional Moroccan pan-fried bread made with semolina, butter and milk

Harsha has a rough, crispy exterior and a soft, crumbly interior. It’s completely yeast-free, meaning there’s no rising time, making it the perfect bread to make when you’re short on time

Nadia will demonstrate the process from start to finish, sharing her knowledge and tips along the way. This is a demonstration-style session rather than a hands-on workshop, but Nadia will be happy to take questions throughout the process so you can gain a better understanding of how to recreate Harsha at home

What you’ll learn from Nadia:
• How to make traditional Moroccan Harsha
• How to work with semolina-based dough
• How to pan-fry your bread to achieve the perfect crispy exterior
